Ather Rizta – New electric scooter come with dhansu range in market

Ather Rizta: Ather Energy, the sporty, tech loving electric scooter manufacturer best known for bringing us the traditional edgy looking 450X, is now taking a different route with the launch of the Ather Rizta – an electric scooter specifically designed for families.

Unlike Ather’s earlier “speed focusing” models, the Rizta’s vision over practicality, space, comfort and ease of use.

Now, in a market, where we have the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ola S1 Air holding the fort, does the Ather Rizsta bring enough to the table for that taste… balancing practicality alongside some smart features..

It’s not just an electric scooter; it’s Ather’s attempt to revolutionize the family scooter space with clean design, well-thought-out ergonomics and a show-stopping tech package. So, is it worth the buzz? Let’s dig in.

Design – simply functional with a touch of the classic.

The Ather Rizta doesn’t attempt to look futuristic or aggressive—but is rather clean, friendly design.

The wide seat, large footboard and upright position make it clear that this scooter is built for comfort and utility.

We love it’s rounded panels and soft curves – it’s definitely pleasing to the eye and suitable for all ages.

Coming in subdued, family-friendly colors — White, Grey, and Pastel Blue — the Rizta eschews the bright colors of most other EVs and carries itself as a mature, no nonsense ride.

There’s also an extended seat and backrest, so it is genuinely two-adult friendly — an area many scooters fall down on.

Perfomance: Well-Balanced Efficiency

The motor in the Rizta mounts on to the rear hub, and the scooter draws electricity from a 2.9kWh (for the Rizta S) and a 3.7kWh (Rizta Z) light-weight battery.

The motor is good for about 4.3 kW peak output, which can push this speedster to 80 km/h top speed more than enough for city commuting.

It has a full charge range of 105km to 125km depending on battery and riding mode selected.

And with Ride, Eco and Sport modes, you can swap between performance and efficiency on the fly. It’s smooth, quiet and zippy for its size.

The Rizta unlike previous Ather models seems to be more about convenience than aggressive acceleration.

That means it can be a comfortable, safe option for elderly riders, family members or even beginners.

The strongest selling point of the Rizta, however, is comfort. It sports one of the widest seats on a scooter of its size, an ample foot board for carrying grocery bags, and two shock absorbers that effortlessly soak up potholes.

This scooter is roomy enough for everything, whether that’s a school drop-off or a run to the grocery store.

You also get 34 litres of under-seat storage — big enough to accommodate a helmet and a light backpack — as well as optional frunk (front trunk) accessories that add more storage space. Its all about being a little practical.
